Here's a very small selection from Leigh's collection of approximately 6000 license plate photos taken over the years. She has been photographing license plates for decades, and an article about her work documenting these "bumper-borne messages" appeared in the January, 1993 issue of Allegro, the official newspaper of Local 802 of the AFM (American Federation of Musicians).
